Sitting, waiting, wishing...

Journal Entry: Mon Nov 9, 2009, 3:32 AM
  • Mood: Suffering
  • Listening to: Random mix on my PC.
  • Reading: Hellblazer Comics.
  • Watching: The clock.
  • Playing: At being wise.
  • Eating: nuthin'
  • Drinking: Tea!

My quest to actually be an artist continues.

I'm in the mood to do some more de-motivationals, so I'll have some more of those up soon - as people seemed to like the last ones. Especially the inFAMOUS one.

Exams are coming up (ack!), which I'm not especially looking forward to. But hey, do what ya gotta do. And I need to do it if I want to be a teacher.

Meanwhile, I'm downloading my digital edition of Dragon Age: Origins... on my crappy internet connection. Slow internet sucks.

And uhh... That's about it.

Cheers!

'Showing'

Fri Apr 13, 2007, 8:21 PM
  • Mood: Eager
  • Listening to: People on the other end of the phone.
  • Reading: Computer screens.
  • Watching: The clock.
  • Playing: Nothing.
  • Eating: Yahoo! Promotional rock-candy.
  • Drinking: Water
That's right. Yesterday (Friday 13th), my girlfriend and I went to the Royal Easter Show in Sydney.

To say what I felt about the show in five words or less:

The entire day ROCKED. Majorly.

The food was tasty and suitably unhealthy, the showbags cheesy, gimmicky and over-priced, the sun was warm, the streets crowded, and my money was gone in a flash.

All-in-all, it was an excellent, fun filled day.

We saw Killing Heidi, and OH MY GOD! Kate Miller-Hiedke!
Kate wrote a song which is 'officially' our song, called 'Space They Cannot Touch'.

We scored both of her EP's (signed, no less), which rock, just like her performance did.

I did my masculine duty and won a large orange-coloured lion, which Caitlin ended up calling 'horse' (don't ask).

But, in retrospect, maybe I shouldn't have spent so much money...

Trials, Tribulations and Telemarkets...

  • Playing: Solitare.
  • Eating: Sadly nothing.
  • Drinking: Coffee
Okay, so I lied about the 'trials, tribulations' bit.

But I am at work, and I am Telemarketing, so that part is true.

Having not been on DA for AGES (since July last year), I felt it was time to return, and go back to writing poems, which I haven't done in a while.

So yeah, this is just a note for anyone who ares about that fact that I shall be writing once again...

BEWARE!
